Product Description
TPEE 40D offers high impact resistance, stable performance, and easy processing capabilities, making it an ideal material for demanding industrial applications.
TPEE must be pre-dried prior to processing to ensure the resin remains dry during manufacturing operations.
Critical Note: When temperature exceeds the melting point, moisture in the resin causes hydrolysis, resulting in degraded physical properties and increased brittleness. Hydrolysis is prevented when moisture content remains below 0.1%.
Drying Recommendations:
- 80℃ for 3-4 hours
- 60℃ overnight
Processing Temperature Range: 180℃ to 260℃ (specific temperature depends on process and grade)
TPEE exhibits excellent processability and can be easily formed via injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding. All standard grades maintain consistently stable melting points.
Storage Requirements:
- Store in cool, dry place in sealed packaging
- Reseal tightly after opening
- Drying prior to processing is critical for finished product quality
Due to its unique combination of properties, TPEE is widely used across multiple industries:
Rail Transit:
- Under-rail pads for light rail, high-speed rail, subway, and heavy-haul railway
- Shock-absorbing pads with appropriate dynamic-static ratio and excellent resilience
Automotive Components:
- Engine intake pipes, drive shaft boots, airbag housings
- Automotive fuel vapor hoses, fuel tanks, air brake hoses
- Superior chemical resistance and weatherability for longer service life
Electrical & Electronic Industry:
- Fiber-optic cables, communication wiring equipment, antennas
- Excellent heat resistance, elasticity, creep resistance and electrical insulation
Industrial Products:
- Hydraulic hoses, inflation tubes, gears, manipulators
- Couplings, seals, gaskets, shock absorbers

55D Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer TPEE Granules for Automotive Components
Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer TPEE 55D Material Processing Requirements TPEE must be pre-dried prior to processing to ensure the resin remains dry during manufacturing operations. When the temperature exceeds the melting point, moisture in the resin will cause hydrolysis, resulting in degraded physical properties and increased brittleness. Generally, hydrolysis will not occur when the moisture content is below 0.1%. Therefore, materials exposed to air must be re-dried
