Antistatic Agent for Injection Molding

Permanent Antistatic Agent For Polymers Astpeen 813
This permanent antistatic agent features low surface resistance and easy color matching. It is widely used in plastic modification, industrial tools, electronics industry, cleanroom equipment and other fields.
Recommended Dosage
It is generally recommended to add directly to the material at a ratio of 10-25%. The optimal dosage shall be determined experimentally based on the target surface resistivity and the type of material used.
Instructions for Use
  • Blend ASTPEEN permanent polymeric antistatic agent with the base resin thoroughly by dry mixing
  • Add dispersants, fillers, pigments, etc., to the mixture as required
  • Melt and compound using a twin-screw extruder to process into masterbatch
  • Any conventional processing methods can be applied: open mixing/internal mixing, extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, cast film extrusion, foaming, etc.
  • A suitable compatibiliser may be added as required
  • Before processing, pre-drying of the mixture is recommended (suggested conditions: drying at 85-125℃ for 2-4 hours)
Special masterbatch is available which can be directly used in production after uniform dry mixing with raw materials at a ratio of 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3.
Precautions
  • Use up the product as soon as possible after opening
  • Any unused product must be stored in a sealed container to prevent moisture absorption
  • Bulk products with vacuum bag leakage and residual materials must be dried at 85-125℃ for 2-4 hours before use
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 25 kg per bag, paper-plastic composite bag or aluminium-plastic vacuum bag.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and ignition sources.

  • All raw materials are polymeric compounds with an eco-friendly production process
  • No waste gas, waste water or industrial residue
  • Non-toxic granular solid
  • General protective equipment (gloves, dust masks) recommended during handling
  • In case of accidental contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention if discomfort occurs
