Product Description
ASTPEEN 108M is a permanent polymeric antistatic agent independently developed for polyethylene materials (LLDPE, LDPE, HDPE). Different from conventional low‑molecular‑weight migratory antistatic additives, it delivers long‑lasting permanent antistatic performance rather than surface‑migration‑dependent temporary antistatic effect.
This product features moderate compatibility with polyolefin matrix, so it imposes minimal adverse influence on the original physical and mechanical properties of PE substrates. Its ideal melting temperature ranges from 150‑165 ℃ for full plasticization, favorable fluidity and good melt strength. The recommended molding processing temperature window is 150‑220 ℃. Thermal decomposition and discoloration may occur once processing temperature exceeds 240 ℃, which will cause deterioration of final product performance.
Application scenarios cover blown film, injection molding and extrusion processing of PE. For blown‑film process, the dosage shall be appropriately increased compared with injection‑molding application. The suggested typical addition dosage is around 20%. Sufficient drying of ASTPEEN 108M is required prior to compounding and processing. Store the product in cool, dry and well‑ventilated indoor environment at ambient temperature.
| Test Item | Unit | Test Method | Typical Value |

| Surface Resistance Value | Ω | GB/T 1410 | 1.5×10⁶ |

Note: Solid line in dosage‑surface resistance curve stands for injection‑molded sheet test data; dashed line corresponds to blown‑film test data. When producing blown‑film articles, raise the addition concentration by 5% based on injection‑molding reference dosage.
