Selection Guide for ASTPEEN Series Polymer Permanent Antistatic Agents & Applicable Substrates
2026/04/24
The ASTPEEN series of polymer permanent antistatic agents are professionally synthesized and produced by our company, belonging to the polyether ester amide permanent antistatic category. This product dissipates static charges by forming a unique micro conductive network structure in the polymer matrix, delivering efficient and long-lasting antistatic performance.
Different from conventional antistatic agents, its antistatic property does not rely on surface migration, and is barely affected by ambient temperature and humidity. It features durable performance, resistance to wiping and washing, and negligible impact on the transparency and mechanical properties of finished products.
With the addition of ASTPEEN polymer permanent antistatic agent, the surface resistivity can reach 10⁶–10¹² Ω to meet standard antistatic requirements. Special grades can achieve resistivity below 10⁵ Ω to form conductive polymer materials.
-
Permanent & High-efficiency
Antistatic performance will not decline over time, nor be weakened by surface wiping or solvent cleaning, maintaining stable effectiveness throughout the product service life.
-
Toughening Modification
It can be used independently as an elastomer to improve the impact resistance and toughness of matrix materials.
-
Stable Performance
Adaptable to rigorous processing temperatures and various molding methods, hardly affected by external environments such as temperature, humidity and abrasion.
-
Minimal Impact on Mechanical Properties
It has little influence on the mechanical strength, heat resistance and processing fluidity of base resins.
-
Excellent Compatibility
Good compatibility with polymers. Various grades are applicable to most polymer materials, with low precipitation tendency and no adverse effect on subsequent printing, spraying and bonding processes.
-
Easy Color Matching
Fully adaptable to color mixing and customized color formulation demands.
-
Superior Transparency
It barely impairs the transparency of base resins after addition, making it ideal for applications with high transparency requirements.
