TPE is mainly processed using standard thermoplastic processing equipment, such as injection molding machines and extruders.
The core process can be summarized as: drying → heating and plasticizing → molding → cooling.
Before processing, it is recommended to dry the material at 70-80°C for 2-4 hours to avoid adverse effects on mechanical properties.
If dried material cannot be used immediately, it should be properly sealed to prevent moisture reabsorption.
Main processing methods for TPE include injection molding and extrusion molding.
- Before processing TPE of different colors or grades, thoroughly clean the barrel of the injection molding machine or extruder
- PP or HDPE is recommended as purging material
- During processing, ensure good ventilation in the working area
- Operators shall wear appropriate protective equipment
Packaging: 25 kg per bag, paper-plastic composite bag with PE film inner lining.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
